The Africa-Day of September 2nd 2023 again took place in the garden of the Schleswig-Holstein-Haus, at the same time as the flea markets in the Schelfstadt
All participating groups enjoyed the summer weather; we were very happy to have so many visitors! As always, there was a varied program at the information booths, this time from 15 associations active in various African countries. In addition to music from the band Gambo la Uxica from Schwerin, there were culinary delicacies from African cuisine, a children’s musical from Berlin, a book raffle for children, a fashion show featuring traditional African costumes, a scientific book presentation, and dance performances.
With the proceeds from the flea market sales at the Togo Jetzt! information booth we will once again support our project work.
